You don’t react. I’m attempting to communicate, but you don’t react. You’re staring into space, and despite the fact that I’m trying my hardest to occupy said space you’re not cognizant of my presence.
Why can’t you see me?
I’m screaming louder, trying to make a sound, checking the frequency but there’s no reaction. My shouting is muted due to my own blown eardrums, I’m shaking in an attempt to produce a loud enough voice for you to hear it.
Why can’t you hear me?
I’m grabbing you, but you’re not there. I’m touching you, but it’s as if you’re unable to sense me. As if I was just stagnant air occupying the room. I just want to touch you, and to have you know I’m here.
Why can’t you feel it?
It’s as if I’m not even here, but if not then where?
